- Flat shoes to prevent slips trips or falls
- Good personal hygiene, not too much perfume, if you smoke remember gum, no model wants to smell that
- Hands are thoroughly washed before creating a make-up look
- Anti Bacterial is great to keep in your kit
- Make-up brushes are clean ready to be used and clean between each client with alcohol cleaner
- Keeping your brushes sterile is essential- prevent cross contamination
- Turn on mirrors
- Adjust chair to suit you whilst doing your models make-up, prevent back pains
- Your area is clean and tidy
- Make sure you work in an organised manner with brushes and products laid neatly
- Carry out consultation if needed on model- skin analysis
- Overall be friendly, confident and professional at all times
