Modern Elizabethan Face Chart

 I created a face chart with complimentary colours and with the use of gold. I experimented with the colours and with different techniques with the brushes to see how it turned out. I wanted a mysterious, dark, edgy look for this face chart to symbolise my lady in waiting Anne Vavasour and with my modern day personality Amy Winehouse. 

I wanted to use a contrast of the dark green and the light pink to really compliment each other and use harsh thick lines around the eyes to reflect the mystery of my both chosen ladies.

I was experimenting with creating a 'mask' like design around the eyes and a cross pattern across the lips to symbolise banishment, because of Anne Vavasour being locked in the tower of London.

• Illamasqua 'sex' eye shadow on top of light green variety color
• Soap and Glory 'Thick & Fast' mascara
